 Maybe take a very small loan out against it if they want to trade fake fiat debt if I’m in trouble with a fiat expense.. but this shit is never touching an exchange again

 Fiat’s only utility is its payment network. The only reason I ever swap to Fiat is to use it as a payment network for the bitcoin I earn.

 Yes, absolutely. But I’ve learned to keep enough fiat to meet 6 months of expenses and then never have to worry about selling any of my bitcoin. If shit really hits the fan I’ll loan it out for some dirty fiat but this shit is never touching an exchange

 Yes, that’s a nuance to it. If you earn in fiat and have upcoming bills/expenses in fiat, then keep enough in fiat for the next X months.

 Nope. My habit is fairly simple. I work. I spend less than I make in fiat. I save in Bitcoin. 

Being a parent changed my time horizon. I think in decades as opposed to quarterlys.
