I'm fucking with them all the time and wasting their time. They are not the only one. Each major account has impersonators. I aways demand sats from them and they stop speaking with me and I don't know why 😄 rhen I just report the shit out of them making their account useless across all major nostr apps

Those pieces of shit.. really hope none falls into their scams, but very likely statistically someone will 🥲 I am also constantly reporting them hoping it will make a slight difference.. if my report or note will save even one person, it's a success for me.

Something that I'd assume could be easily done that would go a long way on this front: Show the person WoT score up there in the corner next to their PFP. I know most clients have a main box and then a requests or something similar. Maybe an additional folder along with a WoT threshold setting so any DMs that are below said threshold are moved over there automagically? For example, this dude is obviously an impasta and is showing a -6 WoT score here in Coracle. Filter that sumbitch! #asknostr #grownostr #nostr

I'm making a bigger deal of this than it deserves, but if you're gonna call people out, double check the call out. Appreciate you confirming my suspicions with that account. it's the first scammer acct I ever came across and now am acting knowing that they exist. I'm preemptively responding because I don't appreciate being used as an example or people "who fall for scammers" and want to put a stop to that before it happens

Got it Sir, it happened to me too to mistakenly follow the wrong account. My Intention was not to call people out, I was worrying about the ones I follow, and sure they follow him because of an error, and wanted to help.. that's why I tagged just the first few on the list that I do follow, again to warn them, not to call them out. It never crossed my mind those people were connected to the scammers, otherwise I wouldn't follow them.
