It requires a basic git server but not gitea or gitlab as all the PR functionality happens over nostr. I'm planning on releasing a basic git server implementation similar to song (or maybe fork or enhance song) that hopefully a number of people would run public instances of that would host anyone's repos no-KYC with zero setup or sign up required.
Right now the need to sort out a git server seems like the biggest friction for on boarding.
