While in Exeter I thought I’d walk up to the university for a nostalgia trip. I didn’t study here but I practically grew up here because my dad was a lecturer in the engineering department. I learnt to walk & run along the parquet floored corridors, to swim in the pool & even to drive in the carparks. Just snuck into his old building. Haven’t been here in years - it didn’t look the same, but it did smell the same & it really triggered a lot of emotions. Had a little cry.
