@6fb50f0b would love if it was built on top of wireguard using something like tailscale https://tailscale.com/blog/how-tailscale-works/ , works over Wi-Fi p2p and chooses shortest path magically. Enables people to take advantage of it in different ways e.g taildrop https://tailscale.com/kb/1106/taildrop/ , setting up game servers, sharing prototype servers etc https://tailscale.com/kb/1017/install/ . 

 @48bee47e We briefly discussed this at the hackfest (see the notes https://hedgedoc.gnome.org/lSJIxSSISHStGIfbjrDSdQ), but I don't think it went very far.
