You probably dont need a hardware wallet. a Pixel6 with Graphene on it is an easier setup you're less apt to fuck up. its also not recognizable as a signing device, which is a big bonus. and you *certainly* dont need HWW from litigatious assholes who arent even open source.

Nunchuk paired with Tapsigner is pretty slick. I probably wouldn't buy a Tapsigner today due to the BlockClock hijinks, but I bought mine a while ago so I'm using it. Paired with Nunchuk, it's a simple and effective hardware signing solution. You use a software wallet, but have a hardware signer. I wish there were more solutions like this.
I think hardware wallets are cool, but it's true that's they aren't necessary.
