Local I mean geographically local, cause one of the key factor in my opinion, is to be able to exchange fiats for sats, peer to peer and face to face.
These local communities shall rely on bitcoin for various reasons, one of the reasons I find more compelling for bitcoin adoption for sellers and producers is that with bitcoin lightning zaps and prisms, people can easily come up with deals for production/distribution.
And of course these communities shall offer goods/services/assets with bitcoin only payments.
Another thing I think shall be considered is to have a fixed price, not constantly exchange prices into fiats. The rationale behind this is:
When an American come to Italy, or Europe, sellers do not adapt the price to the EUR/USD pair. This can be tricky if in the transformation process of the good there is some FIAT money involved, while it's easier if its a good which is produced with owned production means. For example having to pay for an industrial press of the good or something like that.
That is what I am trying to do with my label. I designed a product which doesn't need the any industrial type production. And I will start to sell the support with music, my own music a music from artists of my niche movement.
Artists I work with will be able to receive a split of the payment without the label managing the income for them, as the zap prism shall take care about the divisions.
I talk about music production, but anything which is self-made can undergo the same logic.
