Gm ☕️☀️ New Nostr users you say? Welcome to my Nostr boot camp. It’s just this meme 💜🫡 https://m.primal.net/KPYX.jpg

Hi man, glad to attend. @MegaNerd
😂🤙
Any good people to follow? Finding it hard to switch away from twitter/x without all my follows
A good idea is to follow people who other people follow on your other follow list then just trim and curate as you wish😁.
Lots of great people to follow. Some tips to find people: search hashtags you are interested in and follow people posting with those hashtags. Check out other people’s follow lists as you’ll probably find some good follows there. Check out Nostr.band to find some of the more popular accounts/posts each day and look at those threads as they probably have a lot of replies and you can find more people that way. My suggestion at first is to follow lots of people and then you can always unfollow them later if they’re not posting what you’re interested in.
Just start going through peoples follow list.
👋
Why is the follower stack important? You can't honest say that you do talk with all your followers on X. I get the big reach point of having alot of followers but good content give you that anyways!
Discoverability is definitely tougher here than on Xwatter. Find and follow a few known accounts, then go dig through THEIR “following” and “followers” lists. A bit more laborious.

Good morning

Team, need help. Newbie here. I have my channel with same handle as this on Twitter. Have the following things to clarify: 1. Is this platform truly decentralised, non censurable or are there restrictions? 2. Is there any API that connects to this platform and allows automation of transmission of the posts? 3. Is there any revenue model to this platform like creator ad revenue on Twitter? Thanks.
✅ Still working on building a community and creating value for others. 🫡
Don’t ’beg’ for sats. Let’s not turn nostr into Steemit.
I'll zap you if you zap me? how about that?
Simplicity achieves the best protocols
Gruelling boot camp! I’m ready 🫡
When will you create something of value? You'd be getting zaps if there was any actual value. If you actually got zaps, you'd stop complaining about 1 sat zaps.
Monero is shitcoin
Have you tried hashtagging it on @Nostur 🤣 #monero https://nostrcheck.me/media/3129509e23d3a6125e1451a5912dbe01099e151726c4766b44e1ecb8c846f506/c9fc754513da90ad4e7c8cd4a8bdfeefadb5dfb2b54c2538ebf8229d454b29bc.webp
Bro that is hilarious 🤣🤣😭
Anything Monero does is possible on L2 on BTC. Also BTC is worth 368x more than Monero. The lack of a supply cap means Monero will inflate forever like fiat. Monero is not good as a store of value. It is only good for illicit transactions.
That's exactly what nocoiners told us in the beginning. I have only two things to say to you. You underestimate your personal need for private transactions and the lack of tail emission will endanger Bitcoins security 10 or 20 years down the road. Enjoy the great store of value that Bitcoin currently is, while it lasts.
No need for tail emissions when there are transaction fees. Like I said, you can transact privately on layer 2.
Where will the transaction fees be coming from if users will be on L2s paying a vanishingly small fraction of on-chain fees? All L2s so far are custodial, permissioned transactions, or have horrible UX
Monero supply issuance is predictable, decentralized, and requires PoW Fiat does not

Onion routing. It is, or at least can be, as secure as Tor. If you buy BTC from a non-KYC exchange and store it on a cold wallet, people knowing your balance means nothing. Monero is just a little easier to use privately, but that doesn’t mean BTC cannot be used privately. The additional privacy of Monero is only useful if you are buying illicit digital goods.
Lightning is not truly onion-routing. Tor's network is fully-connected; every node on Tor is directly connected (or has the potential to directly connect) with every other node. Payment channels do not fully-connect the entire network, and the network topology is publicly known for routing nodes. If you buy BTC from a non-KYC exchange and store it on a cold wallet, people knowing your balance and where it went means they can potentially follow it going into the future whenever you spend it. Future counter parties can also see where it came from. Monero is not "just a little easier to use privately". Bitcoins privacy is entirely non-existent. It's a transparent ledger. You're conflating privacy with anonymity. Lacking in one opens attack vectors for the other.
If you buy something with Monero, the vendor will have your shipping information.
This is true of any payment method you would use. It's not unique to Monero. Monero also never claims to protect the privacy of things external to it's blockchain. No crypto or L2 can.
