 > wow we found someone who actually likes paying taxes!

‌Yes. Allowing CO2 emissions without even taxing them to cover the costs it's causing society is a subsidy on destroying our habitat.

@9c8434d0 @Haelwenn /элвэн/ :triskell: yeah. Sure. Please continue to repent. I'm sure it will be useful when your Chinese overlords finally take over.

@Curator of Mastodon.art fediblock :newt: @9c8434d0 Funny drawings are fun shit until you'd sit down and do the math based on population (China is one of the most populated countries) and commerce/cross-nation-dependencies.

It's easy to say that your country is greener when you do the non-green part in other countries.
@Haelwenn /элвэн/ :triskell: @9c8434d0 sure. But then again, it was the EU lads who taxed their own industry out of existence and forced it to be outsourced to China. If anything, this looks more like sabotage than anything else. Nobody forced their hand.

Together with news like this, it seems like at least half of EU politicians take bribes from at least Xi the Pooh and frens, possibly other foreign governments (G*rmany dismantling their nuclear power and buying coal and gas from Putin, anyone?). Otherwise I can't possibly explain them ruining Europe's economy and industry. I mean, nobody can possibly be this retarded and clueless.

@Curator of Mastodon.art fediblock :newt: @9c8434d0 In fact no need for even cross-nation dependencies, per-population is enough (Numbers from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_population#Largest_populations_by_country).

Sadly they gave percentages instead of raw emissions so can’t go further but I’d say USA one is looking really bad propertionally.
@Haelwenn /элвэн/ :triskell: @9c8434d0 none of this matters. What matters is your country becoming a retirement facility for the senile and old with its median age approaching 50, while all your money is being taxed away and funnelled overseas, and you personally having no future, no money to buy your own home, and no means to feed your children causing you to avoid having any.
