It's easy to say that your country is greener when you do the non-green part in other countries.

If anything, this looks more like sabotage than anything else. Nobody forced their hand. Together with news like this, it seems like at least half of EU politicians take bribes from at least Xi the Pooh and frens, possibly other foreign governments (G*rmany dismantling their nuclear power and buying coal and gas from Putin, anyone?). What matters is your country becoming a retirement facility for the senile and old with its median age approaching 50, while all your money is being taxed away and funnelled overseas, and you personally having no future, no money to buy your own home, and no means to feed your children causing you to avoid having any.
