Nope, but that’s sovereignty and free speech means people have the right to say things others don’t agree with or that are untrue; however, this quote was also a joke and taken out of context, which is the whole point of the, “overheardincornychat” hashtag. Your concern over a random internet note intrigues me though. 

 Of course I believe it is your right to say what you think. I am not a US admirer, but these times demonstrate the importance of the first amendment. By the same token, It's my right to do the same.  It ingrigues me that it intrigues you.
