@6fb50f0b I mean yeah Web and mobile (Graysky, mostly!). AT is much easier to implement from a client perspective than AP from my experience (I've built quite a bit on it and am currently building a project on it - https://skysweeper.p8.lu/). Building one for GTK could be fun, but since unlike here Bluesky is less people with favorite Linux distributions and more normal people that will probably take some time still
@6fb50f0b Oh my fav web one is probably https://deck.blue/ although the official one is really really polished these days, esp. the custom feeds, grouped notifications, quotes and threaded ... threads provide a real benefit over Mastodon IMHO

@f4c84b9f Yeah, definitely waaaay better than the default Mastodon web app. It's like, the only part of the ecosystem that still looks like 2012.

Unfortunately it's also basically the only full-featured client with all the settings, and also what everyone is faces with when they register. Terrible first impression :/
@6fb50f0b True. Its also a bunch of other just fundamental issues with Fedi like the fact that likes don't work like you'd expect them too, search is opt-in, there are no custom feeds AND identity is not portable so you can't find people to follow automatically and timelines are useless (on Bluesky, when you follow someone it recommends more accounts to follow etc.), ...

I think AP is very useful as a network to connect all of the other others. Kind of like Email. But not more than that.

@f4c84b9f Interesting, thanks for the insight!
