 Any reccomendations on an e reader. Never owned one, so Im pretty clueless.  Prefer not to be locked into Amazon ecosystem or the like. Thanks in advance.

 I listen to books. I’m a chef so hands a typically busy. Also listen while I drive. @preston a long time ago mentioned to make your car a place of learning. Took it to heart and rarely just drive with music on anymore unless I need a release.

 I use a kobo elipsa 2e. Just like you didn't want Amazon eco system. I don't use the writing function much but my wide does and likes that part of it.
