 Well, If you care about privacy and security yes, I totally agree. But if you have been using sms app before now for normal conversations then there's no need not to continue. Truth is, unless you are completely degoogled no apps is safe.

 Seems like an already lost battle. No one uses SMS anymore anyway and whatever RCS solution there is out there is probably not as private as we need or want.
