 Nixos is made for devops LARPers to easily create a reproducible and containerized setup across several machines using a single config file. Also, programs are isolated with their dependencies into separate containers. There's also some shit about being able to restore from constant backups by keeping older versions of a package in storage and abusing symlinks.
