I don't buy this story. there is no proof to this. iron melted like it's liquid Na. Same BS as the climate change narrative. Yes polution is a big problem. just because it looks like shit. as for nature processing all the pollutants no problem. Humans may not servive the processing but future will.  So discard your shit responsiblity and stop stressing the BS.
