Yeah and thanks for the heads up ! I’m watching how it’s progressing. I don’t think it’s going to burn down to ground level but even if so it’s still going to be a lot less to cut/drill/dig after. And the ground is damp enough that it’s not going underground. 

This is an older stump (took the tree down at least 8 years ago, so it’s pretty rotten in the core. I’m pleasantly surprised it burned this well. 

 @f3268ec5 wildland firefighters have been falling in pit created from burning tree roots, I believe it. The heat from the pit is intense and u don't even know it's there.👍
