Why is an LLM better than a regular search index for this?
Not sure what you mean by regular search index. The problem is that most of the financial disclosures are handwritten scanned pages that you can't simply do a search upon - LLMs are great at character recognition.
Ah, so the LLM might not be doing the actual search function, but compiling all the text digitally 🤙
