@Cat poni, Whorseman of Apocalypse @7e00ff73 I mean, on russian loading gauge the wire goes 5750mm above rails and the maximum height carriages is 5300mm, so 450mm at the minimum. Though the particular locomotive is 4253mm high, so basically a meter and a half of space to the wire.
@ee2db1d7 @7e00ff73 i'd be more concerned there's not really all that much to hold to (that is not potentially live)
@Cat poni, Whorseman of Apocalypse @7e00ff73 if you follow through the link to wikimedia you'll see a link to source youtube video, where it's even more obvious that it's dumb.
@ee2db1d7 @7e00ff73 let me tell you i am genuinely shocked the russians would do something dumb
@Cat poni, Whorseman of Apocalypse @7e00ff73 I'm not surprised that russians did something dumb, I'm surprised that a video from the dumb frontlines with educational value unrelated to the dumb exists.
@ee2db1d7 @7e00ff73 there's like a balkanese bro who posts nice videos of how the train undercarriage works (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0voBq8ixhE), but he does it by just attaching some gopro to something
