 Been spending the day in Hyprland. 

It has worked better than it ever has before. My only gripe is that I can't get the monitors to go to sleep.

That's great! My bar stopped loading after this last upgrade. So I have just been sticking to the best wm, Qtile.

Once I get some free time, I can figure out what's going on

 @74178bce on gentoo, rebuilding everything from x11 to wayland is ultra painful. 

Maybe i should make backup and simply reinstall. On the other hand, going from wayland to x11-only is simpler. 

Btw. how do you handle notifications on hyprland? In my case every popup from firefox just goes as another window, lol.

 @74178bce the hyprland experience seems to vary heavily, I've been using it for almost a year now and it has been rock solid stable, no issues whatsoever. However, everyone else seems to have some sort of issues with it at some point.
