Prime trust and fortress trust were founded by the same guy Swan was/is involved with both How people still do business with these scammers surprises me greatly, especially with such better options available
Ever since I left Twitter, stopped using Swan services, curated my podcasts down to the highest signal ones, I very, very rarely hear about Swan. Which is weird considering they're supposed to be one of the biggest bitcoin-only exchanges. Maybe it really is mostly a marketing front for a shady fiat business.
They are just a sales wrapper around one of the scammiest companies in the business and blow a bunch of smoke up everyone's asses
Yeah, in hindsight, that's a good way to describe them. This might be messed up, but I also thought it was really odd that Yan was literally the only Jew I've ever seen stick around in the Bitcoin space.
Robosats I don't think many fully appreciate you can simply send "cash" to any ln invoice/address with Strike and you never bought bitcoin. Just says "strike" on bank statement https://image.nostr.build/2e962a3b3b54570090b3ea5925643644f464705fdfb6193b915904fec9e6801c.jpg
Requires KYC/AML, right?
How dare they provide bitcoin security information by Lopp - worst scammers ever! https://www.swanbitcoin.com/canon/bitcoin-security/
All of their customers just had $100+ stolen from their accounts, obviously writing a blog isn't the scam
I wonder if this is the “finance partner.” Swan sent me an annoyingly worded email saying I broke the agreement with “their finance partner” by sending my exchange BTC from Swan to a coinjoin - which I had not done - I wrote them back saying they were wrong and need to check how much they’re paying their finance partner - who is big brothering swan UTXOs.
