 I know some people can't eat chicken eggs from chickens fed soy, which most commercial chicken feeds use as a protein source.  Some people can eat soy free eggs.  Some people can eat duck eggs that can't eat chicken eggs.  Obviously everyone is different, so be careful if you try either. 
 I wonder if this is my issue with eggs…? 
 i like the yolks of duck eggs but the white is icky compared to chickens

but that makes sense... here there is practically only one kind of egg you can buy and it's cage eggs that must be fed soy... soy is just so fucked up, i mean, i was fed it a lot as a kid and it was probably less toxic a product then but now i wouldn't eat it if the alternative was to starve, this genetic modification is *shudder* so utterly wrong and unnecessary

i've never had problems with eggs before but i realise that i've mainly ate free range for years
