#WritersCoffeeClub 3: Should a writer have a photo on or inside their book?

I sure hope not because I would set myself on fire before putting one on there.

As a reader I have never once picked up a book based on a jacket photo, but I have certainly put some back on the shelf because of one.

If the whole back cover is one big glamor shot, I immediately assume "airport book." Which is not all bad, I've read my share of Ludlum. But it sends a certain message.

Do not perceive me. Enjoy the book.
