 TIL the company which builds the voting machines for the US and possibly Canada is literally called "Dominion".

The machines claim to be offline during voting, but CAN connect to the internet to upload data after the voting process. So they're just saying "trust us bros", we only connect to the web after you're done. 

Can't make this shit up. 🤣

 Is it possible to create a voting system based on Bitcoin? if so, then anonymity would be contrary to voting principles. The conclusion is clear: we don't need a system in which we have to vote.  
 I don't recall why exactly, but I read a discussion on bitcointalk where someone explained in detail why voting on the blockchain is also not a great solution. 
 That explains how Trump won in 2016.  I always felt he had to cheat somehow.
