No Carlos, that's simply not true. While some vaccines helped us immensly against certain illness, most of them did far less then the moneymakers want you to believe. 

There have been far more important thing that prolonged life then vaccines.

I mean we do agree that say, Smallpox, Polio, Chickenpox and Pertussis has by and large been eliminated due to vaccination effors, yes?

You wanna know why this story emphasises that "wild polio" has been eradicated in Africa? Because vaccine induced polio still exists. Better sanitation is required to truly eradicate polio.
