🧵 1/10 It’s been a week since I was scammed and my digital wallets were drained. This week has been full of lessons—both good and bad. I want to share what’s happened and what I’ve learned. Hopefully, it helps others avoid similar traps. 💡 2/10 First, a word of caution: after my last thread, I received tons of comments and DMs from "crypto recovery specialists" claiming they could get my money back. Sadly, all of them were scammers, just looking to profit off my misery. Please be extra careful. 🚩 3/10 On the positive side, I had several people reach out who had encountered similar scams. It felt amazing to help others avoid falling into the same trap I did. If sharing my story saved even one person from this, it was worth it. 🙌 4/10 Security-wise, I've tightened everything up: ✔️ 2FA on all accounts ✔️ Every password updated ✔️ Funds moved to cold storage It’s a reminder that staying secure online requires constant vigilance. 🔒 5/10 In terms of personal lessons, I wish I had asked someone for advice before downloading that file. It seems so obvious now, but in the moment, I trusted too easily. It’s OK to double-check and ask for second opinions when something feels off. 🧠 6/10 Being scammed can send you into a dark place. I’ve struggled with blaming myself—feeling "stupid" for falling for it. But here's the truth: It can happen to anyone. In those moments, having someone to talk to really helps. Don’t suffer in silence. 💬 7/10 That’s why I want to offer my ear to anyone who thinks something is off in their conversations—on X, Discord, or wherever. If you’ve fallen victim to a scam and need to talk, I’m here. Together, we can stop these scammers and begin to heal. 💪 8/10 I’m even considering starting a free weekly newsletter that covers: 1️⃣ The latest scam cases and attempts 2️⃣ Safety guidelines in crypto 3️⃣ Other helpful resources Would anyone be interested? ✉️ 9/10 I’m also thinking of launching a Discord community for real-time discussions, scam alerts, and mutual support. It could be a safe space for victims and those who want to stay informed. What do you think? Would this be helpful? 🤔 10/10 A week later, I’m wiser and more cautious, but also more open to helping others avoid these traps. If you feel something’s off in a conversation or have been scammed, reach out. Let’s look out for each other. 💙 #ScamAwareness #StaySafe #CryptoSecurity https://m.primal.net/LOeU.png
