Community clients, consider showing most recent or most liked posts from across all communities in a “global community” feed for starters. And then allow people to jump into individual communities from there. 

It’s easier to engage with some popular note vs browsing communities one by one to see what’s there. The latter works if you already know what you’re interested in but doesn’t promote engaging discovery.
