how does hard money incentivize reducing waste? War is the easy target but what about building or agriculture or farming?

I think hard money reduces consumption so more energy goes to improving technology instead.

If money also depreciates, the opportunity cost of a disposable economy is lesser.

So consumers seek more durable goods, producers work more efficiently, and prices trend downwards so higher quality goods become more attainable.
