HP are the worst. Been using 3rd party toner carts in my laserjet m255dw for the last 3 years - the workarounds for that are bad enough, involving transplanting the chip out of the official cart - but now I've got the dreaded "supply problem" message. Printer doesn't work and I'm deep into downloading old firmware from dubious google drive links and FTPing into my own damn printer to try to bring it back from the brink. #RightToRepair 

 @ad50239d My dad asked me to look at his printer while I was visiting earlier. I took one look at it and said "It's an HP, I'm not touching that. Go buy a laser printer".
