Sometimes it’ll get triggered by a sound, a smell or something particularly lovely like the feel of the sun on the back of my neck (or all three). I’ll get a memory that will make my heart feel all funny, and just as quickly it will disappear and I’ll be wondering why I felt that way. Just happened to me now.

i would describe that as deja vu, sorry for the tone of my first message saying "just", its a big deal anyways lol. i think deja vu is you remembering something from your future(i think we all know our whole lives but forget when we are born)
For me, deja vu has become memories of dreams. I can remember how long ago I had the dream, even though I didn't remember it upon waking. I can remember what happened before, and after, in the dream that doesn't match the deja vu exlerience too. Maybe my dreams are reminding me of the life I already know I have? 🤔

I don't think so, but the reports I have read and seen about people remembering past lives with intimate details are curious.
IMO, it sounds like you are remembering bits of past lives.
I've had several past-life regressions, some of them spontaneously. One of them was in sign language class. There were three signs that triggered memories. The first memory made no sense, as I had no other context. The second sign triggered new memories, but had the context of the previous one. By the third "flash of memories", the rest of the story unfolded.
I've heard of past life memories coming to people, but haven't experienced one personally
hi! how would you know the memories are not yours? Is it because it is unfamiliar to this lifetime? I am a hypnotist and do past life regression. Hence, I asked because memories are triggered as you described. It is highly likely it is part of your past lives. ☺️ It is exciting at the same mind puzzling to experience. ❤️
