@des any recommendations for beginner yoga resources? Think old man who can’t touch his toes
 Try touching your toes
 I did, ain’t happening
Search “30 days of yoga” on YouTube. It will take you from complete novice to well into the beginner level. Kind of like a “couch to 5K” for Yoga. You can do it in your living room in front of the TV. It’s OK to repeat days until you feel comfortable.

I go through the program several times a year and I’m well into my 50s. I can touch my toes on demand :-)
Thank you. I’m definitely going to check that out!
😂 First, the point of yoga is just to heal the body, not get into the perfect postures, so it’s okay if you can’t touch your toes lol I’d start in local classes and make sure the teacher offers variations of each pose using blocks/blankets/bolster. Start with beginner, gentle, restorative, or yin yoga (yin is for deep stretches). There’s the yoga collective app but I think it requires a subscription. You can always YouTube videos as well!
I can't touch my toes either. Another fear unlocked. Thanks 😭
Do yoga with me. I walk 5-10 miles a day and strength train but I am stiff as a board.
I teach a dynamic movement class online Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 9am EST. It focuses on stability, balance and mobility Happy to send you a link to come to a class to see if it resonates.
