@8b30d999 it actually was my first language, and I spoke it up until I was 3 or so. I learnt enough that I needed to attend English as a Second Language, but not enough to avoid having to relearn it as an adult. 

Plus I’ve never really learned a language just for myself; Bulgarian for example was for my ex wife, Esperanto was because I wanted something after a break up and a friend asked me if I knew it. So I figured why not my first language?
