True. I guess what I'm getting at is not only are some stories lifted from other writings but the originals are from a time in history when there was supposedly no civilization on the planet.

It would help if people realized we are not the first advanced culture and most of earth predynastic history is false...this is what the megalithic evidence from all over the planet is showing.

Instead people cling to religions cause they have "bibles" and lock themselves into narrow beliefs.

I wouldn't say all predynastic stories are false. There is truth in them, same goes for holy scriptures. Much knowledge has been lost to wars, movement of the peoples, etc. To me, one of the major culprits being translations. Much gets lost during translation be it by limits of a given language/culture and/or the interests of the governing body and/or translator/s.
