Could someone make a zap provider that accepted zaps via credit card and distributed them directly to the receiver's bank account using Stripe Connect or something like that? Maybe some normie influencers would be interested, I don't know.
Although you would probably have to fork a client to inject the credit card Stripe form when the user tried to zap or something like that, someone please have a better idea.
Eh I think adding NWC support to a service like #Strike that would allowing zapping to and from a dollar denominated balance would be a lot less work
I don't want Bitcoiners to use dollars, I want non-Bitcoiners to use Nostr.

If Cashapp (one of the most used payments apps by non-bitcoiners) enabled NWC to and from a dollar denominated balance, why wouldn't non-bitcoiners use it?
maybe some of those stable sat solutions as intermediaries, so that the bank transffers can wait until the transaction cost fraction is minimized enough
The whole point is to skip the banks not use them
the opportunity to do payments easily has been missed.
Wouldn't this eliminate the need for all the current Bitcoin apps?
