Being a life-long truth seeker (it’s how I’ve always been wired) occasionally got me in trouble with a few teachers and even college professors in my younger days. 😂 But, over time, this thirst also led me to: - become a devout follower of Jesus Christ - the Bitcoin network - and now, #nostr And for these things, I am extremely thankful. Other than these few things, I’m aggressively pragmatic. How about you? Are you a truth-seeker? If so, where has it led you?
Out of nihilism, into freedom tech.
Similar story……. As a Christian, I always seek truth…….. Proverbs 11:1 “The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him.” #Bitcoin was discovered on this premise for me……… #NOSTR keeps me out the algorithms…….
Got me in trouble during religious instructions for my confirmation.
I can relate 100%.
Similar. I am truth seeker and I think truth will set us free. I want to live in a fair / normal society where good is incetivized. Some examples of bad that I don't like and I hope to be fixed are - funny fiat money created out of thin air leading to corruption, inflation theft of ordinary people, wars, corrupted political, judical and media powers, woke and gender agendas who worship satan and are trying to demolish the ordinary family, traditions and cultures of different nations, all lies, propaganda and brainwashing which results of bad fiat money, same with wars ... and at some point hopefully peoples' values will be fixed too as they also got influenced into negative direction.
I often seek the truth in what I don’t understand.
Became a card carrying scientist and left the church. As I get older there seems to be evidence accumulating for “something else”, eg UAP/psychic events or “the phenomenon”. This area is still ultra taboo scientifically but I am open to viewing the evidence and testing further and not shy about it even in work circles. It’s tough being a truth seeker when it’s increasingly clear even the brightest among us have incredibly small windows of perception and intelligence.
Seeking the truth has also lead me to follow Jesus Christ as he is the way the truth and the life. It has lead me to understand the corruption of the dollar and how bitcoin is clearly the only answer to centralized control over our wealth. The carnivore diet has also been a massive quest of truth for my health. Eliminating plants and only eating animal products will clear up most health problems and improve every facet of your life.
There is no such thing as Truth. It is the collective knowledge that has been passed onto us that allows us to articulate and describe the world we experience through our senses. Independent of that, we have no way of knowing what is absolute truth and what is not. Everything that the mind produces is born out of the garbage passed on to us by those that came before us. Therefore we can only experience what our tool (the mind) allows. We have no independent mechanisms to experience "Truth" outside of the mind. My 2 sats. 🙏
If your god needs to spend 40% of his rules puffing out his chest and threatening eternal damnation is he really all powerful? Like if there are hundreds of religions created by man and you god isn't powerful enough to convince everyone on a spec of dust in the universe, ya might want to keep seeking the truth on yhat topic I think.
My truth seeking has lead me to uncover the hidden truths about: 911 Sandy Hook Vaccines Cancer cures Pharmaceuticals Spanish flu scamdemic Convid19 scamdemic Banking cartel Israel/Palestine Causes of war Kazarian Mafia 6M Jews Hitler Diseases like Polio The AIDS scam The education system The medical system The birthing industry Caesarean births Food/farming Best human diet Carnivory I'm sure there's many more...
I could not agree more. For me the second order effects of your first 2 points has enabled me to defeat my own consumerism and cultivate a deep sense of low time preference. Now my #1 goal in life is to teach this to my children.
Many people don’t like truth seekers, mainly at a young age. I found that it really pays off at adulthood. It led me to leave my home country, to truly understand socialism, and Bitcoin.
I think Covid really opened my eyes and made me a more critical thinker. My son introduced me to bitcoin around that time, so it helped turn my cynicism into optimism. I love God, Bitcoin, Nostr. It's a challenging time and a great time to live.
