What's your opinion on assisted dying?

#asknostr
 none of my business
Do you mean you don't care if it's available as an option or not, or rather don't care if someone chooses to go for it?
Sorry. It should be an option and nobodies business except the patient and care provider.
 nobody's
It depends on the circumstances .. 'dignity in death' is a major factor in my thoughts surrounding the subject
I tend to agree, there are some really awful and predictable ways to go
Does the person I assist have to consent?
I don't think we should concern ourselves with details, help is help lol
Help is better in most of the cases but sometimes the situation is helpless. It should be forbidden for 25yo or less though.
 Gun
It's for the person to decide. Whether he sees hope or not. Obviously, he can be wrong. Personal autonomy overrides anything else imo
Yikes. I feel like the government would end up controlling it for genocide of poor or mentally ill ppl
No. They will lower a bar down to a smallest inconvenience under ploy of being a burden to society etc
 Yeah it's trending that way
I think that definitely plays a part. There are horrible diseases and it's understandable that some people want to skip the horrible end part, but there are also old people pressured into feeling like a burden.
