Apparently, they're now trying to say Elon is a Russian asset? I just don't get it any more with the Left. Personally, I sit center-left. But the Left are increasingly going so far left I don't even feel remotely connected. These people hate America. They only ever bring up its dark past, which is rightly acknowledgeable, but use it and fixate only on it as a way to say why capitalism needs to be destroyed. Rather than learn from it and see how we can improve the cards we've been dealt. And the whole Russian thing is hilarious. They lament how terrible America is and why it should be destroyed, but then get triggered when a foreign adversary is allegedly trying to do the same thing? Huh? You'd think they'd be in full support of a communist country trying to "liberate" their fellow comrades. Never understood why these people keep peddling this trope as a way to denigrate who they dislike. It's getting so old at this point. It's so weird to me that the Left now slurp up everything the MSM tell them. And it's now the Right wingers who are the "resistance". There's nothing left-wing about claiming someone is a Russian asset. It may be people on the left making that claim, but it's not reflective of left-wing political ideology. I don't think Elon is a Russian asset, but he's ego-driven, and sloppy—both traits that the former KGB Russian dictator is known to seek out and exploit for his own purposes. In any case, it's concerning that someone with Elon's money, government contracts, and security clearance is having regular conversations with one of America's primary enemies. I would feel the same way regardless of the political affiliation of the person having these contacts, and I only hope that American intelligence is monitoring the situation closely for the sake of protecting the nation's interests. I see this as a matter of national security, not politics.
