sock prototyping is done! I can start making pairs for the Feb shop update to go along with the hats. so exciting 😁 which color do you guys like more? the light one or the dark one? https://image.nostr.build/e8b3e544fe825e290289c967b37bf34ffa1bb0873ae2610fd8107cb7df743d65.jpg#m=image%2Fjpeg&dim=1081x1351&blurhash=_7D017%7EV02M%7Csl0M4%3B.As*tQRkxBWCE2014%3B%3FF-%3A%3FF%3FF%251-%3BIqNGE2E3%3FF%3FFE2xZ%3FGD%2B4%3BR-%250kYM%7Cad-.%2529aM%7C-%3Aocn%24Rko%23xtIp%25Mt6s-ocWrNHj%3FNKM%7Cs.t6t6ayt6&x=9276bb155eb31c3ddad11b6b57ab64dbdf4ac69ff30cda4fab2085d4f531fef5 the yarns are the same content 100% wool 🐑 but a different mix of colored fleeces. I keep going back and forth on the one I like so your input will help a lot. #bitcoinsocks
Darker ones
Tough choice. I might think it’d be good to have both available.
I think that's the ultimate goal but I can only knit so fast 😂
My thoughts are: The pale one looks nicest to me, but the dark one would take longer to look dirty 😂
I vote darker, but I’ll probably buy at least one pair of either color. I don’t know if this question will make any sense, but are they a chunky knit or a smooth knit?
these are chunky. the yarn I'm using makes a thick, warm, durable sock but sacrifices a little softness. Softer socks are usually made with finer wools which can be a nice treat for your feet but I find that they develop holes more easily since the fiber isn't as durable and the yarn is often mixed with nylon to make it stronger but will often shred the wool in the process. I hope that answers your question
It gives me an idea lol. I’ll probably still snag a pair once you make them available to give a go. I am picky about my socks but I also burn through them pretty quick (boots, 12+ hrs a day, average 25k steps a day)
