@4a888f94 yeah, I have trouble finding how to, in her words, 'welcome' more people to leave that bubble...and the need for consequences of supporting a party and admin that's been pretty damned fascist for her entire adult life.

Exactly. I was watching her interview last night on Rachel Maddow and I couldn't shake the feeling I was being conned by someone that was not very good at it.
@4a888f94 I suspect she's still trying to con herself, that her entire political belief system wasn't an abject lie.

But not impossible it's more malicious than that too.

Definitely saw her swing from scripted to unprompted responses, from projecting to genuine emotion, that detracted from her being truly believable.

I feel about her the same way I do about Michael Cohen. They both worked for Trump, even after they knew who he truly was. (Anyone with real strength of character would have high-tailed it outta there at the first realization. Or, even more harshly, anyone with any insight at all would NEVER have worked for him.)

She (apparently) told the truth under oath to the Jan6 Select Committee; that’s not a high bar when one has been employed as “Chief of Staff to the President’s Chief of Staff,” as she described herself. It may be an unusual action for a Republican, but it isn’t heroic.

She worked for Trump; she is not a patriotic heroine.

Just my opinion.

That was my takeaway as well. I hope I never see her in politics again although I'm pretty sure we will.
