If your favorite health influencer is still insisting that bowls of fruit are super amazing and healthy, please tell them to google "hybridization"

Modern fruit are not nature-made. They are human-manipulated bags of sugar & fiber, and practically void of bioavailable nutrients. https://nostrcheck.me/media/0018b7ee33fb253843639c62e292fec700a69a93b08ee374c5bda971c9b39564/013f39c2723ab0eff2cf25d40b6c46204a85eea19188bfa512138d6ca093f075.webp
Get yourself some heirloom fruits and veggies 🥕
It's frustrating how many "health influencers" out there are still falling into the fruit & honey trap.

Pure and simple, these people are still viewing food as an emotional experience.

Once you view food as FUEL, all these pleasure-stimulating plants naturally fall away.

I guess you don’t agree with Paul Saladino 😅
Could you elaborate on why hybridization is unhealthy?

I've been eating meat, raw dairy, fresh fruit, dried fruits with no additives, and raw honey for about 90 days and I've felt better than any other time in my life. Even having done many different diets over the years. I've lost fat and have very even keeled energy.

No veggies, grains, nuts, seeds, oils, and no preservatives, gums or dyes.

I eat a significant amount of fruit, so I'm curious why you think this is bad considering fruit is naturally sweet and intended to attract unlike many veggies which can't be eaten easily raw due to their acidity, tannin, or pungent smell which is meant to repel.
You are EXACTLY where I was last year 🎯

Great questions- Answered all of them and more in these 2 episodes 👇

Working my way through this. Interesting so far, my only objection so far is that you mention fruit only being available part of the year when it is in season, but this depends on where you live. In Latin America or parts of the world close to the equator, fruit is ripe most of the year naturally. Banana for example doesn't have a season, it just grows all the time.
Our brains grew more than any other time as a species during the ice age, when there were zero plants to eat anywhere

Just because they exist, doesn't mean we are supposed to eat them. The Stephen Thomas episode I linked above dives into that more
Cool, I missed that there were two links. I'll check it out!
We’re becoming more limited on options. It’s still a better choice than most of what can be purchased in a grocery store. It’s disappointing that we don’t have more control when most don’t have the option to grow their own.
Cheers to the bowl of sugar fruit I’m about to juice 😜
Better than ultra-processed seed oil sludge yes, but still a net-negative for health.

Meat has far more vitamins than any fruit cocktail, in a more bioavailable form, without the blood sugar-spiking glucose, fructose, or digestive system-damaging fiber.

In my view, food should be a fuel source, not a source of entertainment. That's why I'm hardline on the narrative around these things. Of course, I understand this perspective isn't for everyone.

I laid the case for all of the above points in more detail here 👇

I love sugar. It is the preferred energy source of the body for a reason

This is precisely why your body produces the exact amount of glucose it needs to run at full capacity, all by itself!

It's a tiny amount. Roughly a teaspoon worth throughout your bloodstream at any given time. This process is called GLUCONEOGENESIS.

Your body really likes this level of blood sugar. When you add more into the mix through exogenous carbohydrates, it doesn't like that so much. Starts to develop metabolic problems like diabetes, fatty liver, tooth decay, and thyroid dysfunction.

This is why consuming only protein & fat is best; those amino acids are an enormous POSITIVE for the body's overall function, as it's very easy to turn animal tissue into animal tissue.

ZERO carbohydrates are required for any of these bodily processes. In the words of Professor Bart Kay: "The optimal amount of carbohydrates for a human being to consume over the course of its lifetime is not one gram, ever."
