I remember being mystified when these programs debuted and everyone was excited because truly any coupons resembling buy 10 get 1 free (which these obviously are except with one added layer of abstraction— point gamification / obfuscation) are *fundamentally* designed to make you buy more than you need, so I never got into it. Same reason why I’ll never buy amaz*n prime. I order only what I absolutely need when I have to pay shipping every time. 

 And forgot 😂 my point was this probably has saved me a ton of money compared to the coupon/points chasers
