Sillage refers to the lingering scent that a fragrance leaves behind as it dissipates in the air. It's often used to describe the trail or aura of fragrance that someone leaves behind them as they move. 

 Sillage, in German, referes to produce that's stored in silos to use as animal feed. 

So if you're on your farm and someone tells you that they can smell your Sillage...
