I wish it was that easy at the airport.  When my daughter was two we came back to the states.  They took my wife into a separate room to interrogate for an hour as my daughter was throwing up and crying for her mother. 

 I would always get nervous going through US customs because they would grill you like a criminal. It's ridiculous.
