I’m gonna ask what @LynAlden did, but about #music .

What’s your generation, and what music has defined you?

For me it’s mostly 1990s and 2000s rock.

Linkin Park, Disturbed, Chevelle, Evanescene, etc.

I like modern rock too, and listen to a lot of Sirius XM Octane. The band that has been my favorite in recent years is The Warning.

 I rarely listen to rock…

but my husband took me to see Linkin Park concert years ago. Loved it.

Those girls know how to jam!! Wasn’t expecting that🤙🏼
Funny how commodified pop music is. I would give the exact same response.
 Ooh I love Chevelle
Oooh check out Brutus, I like 90's and early 2000 as well. Brutus is one of the best finds in the last 15 years, for me. Liar is awesome.
Late Gen-X early millennial, Queen, Nirvana was the biggest influence then stuff like Korn and Deftones.
This could be fun: Millennial- metalcore, death-core, folk-ish rock-ish sounding stuff.
 Older millennial

2000s hard rock: Breaking Benjamin, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Chevelle, Shinedown, Disturbed, Papa Roach etc.

Then had a metalcore era: Killswitch Engage, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet for my Valentine etc.

For the last decade or so, I've gotten into Scandinavian melodic death metal: Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Soilwork, Insomnium, Amorphis, etc.
Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Debussy, ABBA, Trevor Horn, Talk Talk, The Smiths, Radiohead. Gen X
 GenX,

Abba, Dingo, Vaya con Dios, Roxette…
