 @c215902f I worry that you're right but I also hope that you're wrong. 
Wouldn't it be cool if people rejected, enmasse, modernity's progressive ways and went back to classical liberalism and conservatism?
Where there was a MIDDLE and not this slide into the abyss of swinging from one extreme to the next.
This is exhausting.

 @11036f3d Hard times will bring back ultraconservatism as when people wake up from their comfortable life's It will be too late to preserve most of their standards of living. Public is too slow to react. I'm not thrilled at all about this perspective.
