Sure, but the exact same thing is true of Reddit. If you're not a gay jewish Communist (or willing to submit to gay jewish Communism without question) you will be banned within a day. It's impossible to keep a Reddit account for any length of time.

I feel like the cricket is with Reddit is to not get invested in it like emotionally. Cuz I used to. Like I really made it a point to give meaningful advice in the relationship subs and then anyway I like other topics and that shit blew up and I got perma-band seven times. So now I don't even engage in anything that causes an emotional reaction I just completely stay away from it and avoid it.

I'm really sad that now lemmy has neither wolfballs nor exploding-heads. My lotide instance is still up, but I visit a lot less without someone saying something interesting.
