What features or improvements you want to see on YakiHonne that would make it your all time favourite? 🤔
It already is. 😁 That being said, getting the font size sorted out is a big one and maybe an all black background.
Font size fix is coming in the next version. Stay tuned 🫡 Maybe we will think of adding extra themes setup including an All black one 🤔
Maybe extra themes could be part of a subscription plan? 🤔
Hmmm 🤔, i actually think this a good idea 🙏
It’s been my experience that people are more likely to purchase add ons than have to pay to use basic features. You guys offer everything, with no strings attached. And while that may make your users happy and keep them loyal, it’s not a very sustainable business model. I assume that’s why y’all added the paid notes option. It’s not a feature you need to have, but if you would like to use it, it will cost a nominal fee and helps to support the project. I don’t know who your CFO is but he/she could teach these other teams a thing or two. You’re not holding TestFlight builds hostage behind a paywall, like another purple Nostr client, and you’re not charging $50 for a $3 hat and trying to justify it by saying you have payroll. To be fair, they’re isn’t the only project that holds their TestFlight builds hostage behind a paywall, Mona, the mastodon client, does the same thing. He actually went one step further, you can only gain access to the TestFlight builds if you bought the Mona pro max license. So, if you only bought the pro license for the mobile app because you don’t have a tablet and/or PC, then you don’t get access to TestFlight. I had to buy a license for shit I didn’t even use, and that kind of mentality REALLY pisses me off. Devs like that remind me more of the assholes on xda who only wanted to make a name for themselves, not to genuinely make their users happy. Maybe now you can understand why your project is so special. ☺️ Do y’all develop for Android as well? In the ten years that I was a part of that community, that was one attribute that always stood out, they code for the love of coding and to genuinely make their users happy. Most(not all) iOS devs seem to only have their wallet in mind when they code, which is what leads to behaviors like I pointed out to you and that’s what people don’t want to pay for.
Auto translation options. Not sure if private communities is possible yet but that's something I'm looking forward to eventually. Also, thinking future in VR/AR and would be very interested to see how Nostr clients adapt to that over the next few years.
Multi language and content translation is on our top priority bucket list. Communities in general were discussed, let’s hope we can schedule and arrange them in the upcoming versions 🤞. VR/AR is mostly definitely an interesting thing to bring to nostr! Let’s hope we will be the first client to do them 😅
This video preview doesn't load, gives error nostr:nevent1qqszg6d2udhswxkg6cykth6j67cvnu02scqed7skwy2tlqkqrq4huxspz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsygr9jy4845tl6h8nhtxwjavl804r538e5vuhxs89t88sv729m33chupsgqqqqqqsp2u922
The link works fine for me on two different devices. I can't control the preview. I just posted the link.

I was replying to someone else 🙂
Auto parsing of links such as minestr.app
Can you elaborate more on this? I’m not familiar with minestr links 🤔
Any link. They render as text in posts but it would be helpful if they rendered as links.
@YakiHonne would become my all-time favourite with post scheduling, especially for articles—though it’s already a favourite of mine! Maybe add the option to paywall certain posts?
We are glad that you are enjoying it so far. Post scheduling is interesting feature that we might have in the near future 😁. In regards to adding a paywall option to posts. It is an amazing to idea as it helps and supports content creators growth. We might consider it 👀
Yes, that’s exactly what we are going to implement in the upcoming versions 🫡
