I think we use the wrong measuring stick sometimes. Indie software is a great example. 1M per year in revenue is basically nothing to a company like Google, but it is quite significant to an indie developer. So you may not attract a VC or buyer, but that doesn't make it worthless.

This might be your most profound post ever L ... Success is personal (and it has to be). You'll always find people to say you're wrong, you can't succeed, it's a dumb idea, etc. But success only comes from being relentless, believing in yourself, and pressing on regardless of any barriers (perceived or real) that may be in your way.
