Also the defeatist “they always get what they want” mindset would have convinced all of us Bitcoin would be squashed during Wikileaks, yet here we are.
Why would the Deep State kill Bitcoin if they created it? (I've heard from various sources it was created by the NSA, and I wouldn't put the CIA above using Bitcoin to fund their dirty deeds. I'm not saying it was definitely created by the Deep State, but I'm not so dogmatic to assert that it wasn't, without evidence).
