So why did we transfer from wos to alby again?
bc it's not albys turn yet to avoid consequences lol if you want to do it right at once the only option is to run and manage your own lightning node w e.g. start9 or umbrel server or synch to someone else's you trust (a so called "uncle jim node") you have other selfcustodial options tho still: if you dont mind constantly opening and closing an app to redeem zaps you receive while being on nostr, use zeusln.app if you use nostr on desktop or dont mind to switch to desktop, use mutiny wallet (they may have an app now already maybe tho, i cant keep track rly) these last two are as if you're running your own lightning node but without the 200$ minimum hardware cost and without all extra technicalities you have to know ab wrt managing lightning channels it's just still early, will only get better from here.. but do know it will come at cost, just like running your own lightning node has.. you need to pay extra miner fees to let channels open (channels which offers u space to receive sats up to a specific amount, so if u receive bigger amount a new channel has to open so u pay the extra fees again etcetera 🔂 )
But I'm no american. We get everything with vpn, or cracked, or from some shady apk downloader. Whatever works. It is hilarious. The way we all panicked.
