 Platforms pwned all distribution; there is very little incentive to write in your own blog (other than censorship-resistance if you’re able to host it yourself) and owning your data.

But most people write to have their stuff read.

Nostr achieves all of these.

And you can even serve your content in your personal blog as Nostr events too

 Yes ik this, what I mean is why would you rather just post to x and get 115 million instead of posting to your blog AND X and get 115004000 views. I'd replace my personal blog with long form nostr notes.

 Would that need to be a custom relay or is there something available to host a personal or business website with Nostr events? Njump is probably the closest?
